DON DECRISTOFARO
|
Don is a rarity among paranormal investigators in that prior to beginning this journey he’d never had a paranormal experience. No ghosts, no UFO’s, no bigfoot. As the other kids were reading Robert Luis Stevenson Don was reading Hanz Holzer, but the turning point was John Keel’s Mothman Prophesies. After being given a copy of that amazing book the path was clear, and sitting around reading about it wasn’t going to do the trick anymore. Since then, over the last twenty years or so as a part of various groups he’s investigated many of the most haunted locations in the northeast and beyond, but Don’s passion lies in his roots. His involvement with USS Salem and the United States Naval Shipbuilding Museum is what drives Don, and the work he and the GBPA do aboard the ship transcends the paranormal in both uniqueness and importance. It really must be witnessed in person to understand. While he’d love to say it’s the paranormal, Don’s real job is in the renewable energy field, and he and his wife live on the south shore of Massachusetts where they raised two now grown kids. |
