Without stating the obvious in terms of their use, these are Westward Tactical Flashlights.  They are very compact and light while putting out 150 Lumens of candle power.  Their 7+ hours of battery life is reason alone to make them an invaluable tool.  Furthermore, I'd bet the house that only those who've never been on a active investigation consider carrying four of them overkill...
