In late April the GBPA spent a weekend in the wilds of Pennsylvania exploring the infamous Pennhurst Asylum. During it's years of operation between 1908 and 1987 there were charges of everything from experimental surgeries in eugenics to beating patients to arranging for patients to assault each other for betting purposes.
We didn't come away with much evidence unfortunately, but it's an amazing location. As always we had a great time together and we look forward to a return trip!
We did catch this interesting video. Several folks were in the tunnel under one of the buildings and after spending some time at the end of the tunnel they turned and headed back to the exit but something stopped them in their tracks...
